The post-truth

According to the dictionary, "the post-truth concept is a deliberate distortion of a reality, which manipulates beliefs and emotions in order to influence public opinion and social attitudes." In a more colloquial way, post-truth is a concept with which we call the fact of manipulating a story so that it affects more people who listen to it.

In horror movies all cases aren’t real, and some of those that are real are manipulated so that the viewer is more afraid, have some very difficult images to do, they don’t know how to go well to happen in reality ...

One example is the exorcisms of Annaliese Michel, who was inspired to make the movie "The Exorcism of Emily Rose." The story explains how Annaliese, a 16-year-old girl who had epilepsy problems and various mental anomalies, had to be admitted to a psychiatric center. In the course of the year 1973, Annalise began to experience suicidal tendencies, hear voices, feel rejection of religious objects, even drank their own urine. The parents of Annalise believed that their daughter was possessed, but the church did not allow proper procedures. However, two priests acted secretly performing various exorcisms for several months. Finally, Annalise died after 23 years, in 1974, as a result of accumulated exhaustion. This is not exactly what the "Exorcism of Emily Rose" movie shows us, the Catholic Church made an unusual decision to officially recognize the demonic possession of a young American student of 19 years. Emily Rose left rural life to go to college. One night he suffered from hallucination and he lost his knowledge. As these experiences are becoming more frequent and intense, Emily decides to appeal to a priest and put an exorcism that costs him life
